Regular biography
Linus Hamann is a Benjamin Peirce Fellow at Harvard University in the Department of Mathematics. His research focuses on arithmetic geometry, particularly in and around the p-adic numbers, with an emphasis on the connections between classical and geometric Langlands correspondences. His work explores the cohomology of Shimura varieties and related spaces. Hamann received his PhD from Princeton in 2023, advised by David Hansen and Chris Skinner, and previously served as an NSF Postdoc at Stanford under Xinwen Zhu.
