Henry Rosovsky

Henry Rosovsky was a Professor In Memoriam at Harvard University's Department of Economics. He authored numerous books and articles, including works on Japanese economic history and the political economy of Japan. He also edited several publications, such as Industrialization in Two Systems and Asia's New Giant. Born in 1927, Rosovsky earned his A.B. from William and Mary and Ph.D. from Harvard. He taught at the University of California, Berkeley, before joining Harvard, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Acting President. His research interests included Japan and higher education, with a focus on professional ethics in university settings.
