James Stock

James Stock is a Professor of Political Economy in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. His research focuses on monetary policy, macroeconomic forecasting, and econometric methods for analyzing economic time series data. He is also affiliated with the Harvard Kennedy School. Stock's work includes examining the evolution of the U.S. business cycle and the impact of monetary policy changes. He is a coauthor of a widely used introductory econometrics textbook and a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
