Lara Malins

Prof. Lara Malins is a Professor and Snow Medical Research Fellow at the Research School of Chemistry, The Australian National University. She completed her undergraduate studies in chemistry at Boston University in 2009 before pursuing her PhD at The University of Sydney under Professor Richard Payne, focusing on peptide ligation strategies. Following her postgraduate work, she served as a National Institutes of Health (NIH) postdoctoral fellow at Scripps Research, where she developed synthetic methods for peptide modification. She began her independent career at ANU in 2017. Her research centers on synthetic methods for drug discovery, natural product synthesis, and chemical biology.
