Dr. Borui Liu is an ARC DECRA Fellow in the Research School of Chemistry at The Australian National University, where he leads the ANU Battery Laboratory. His research focuses on the fundamental chemistry and materials science of advanced electrochemical energy storage systems, with an emphasis on solid-state architectures and chalcogen-based chemistries. Current research directions include all-solid-state batteries, alkali-metal-ion batteries, and lithium-metal batteries, aiming to overcome kinetic, interfacial, and stability limitations.
