Christopher Foote is a Professor of the Practice of Economics at Harvard University's Department of Economics. He is also a senior economist and policy advisor in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Foote serves as an advisor to the Center for Behavioral Economics and Decision Making. He graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1987 and earned his economics Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1996. From 1996 to 2002, he taught at Harvard University’s Department of Economics, where he also served as director of undergraduate studies. He joined the Boston Fed in October 2003.
