David M. Cutler

David M. Cutler is a Professor of Applied Economics and Dean of Social Science at Harvard University. He is affiliated with the Department of Economics and holds secondary appointments at the Kennedy School of Government and the School of Public Health. His research focuses on Health Economics and Public Economics. Cutler has held various leadership roles, including associate dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for Social Sciences from 2003-2008 and is currently acting as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for Social Sciences. He is also the Otto Eckstein Professor of Applied Economics.
