Jamie Hicks

A/Prof. Jamie Hicks is an Associate Professor at The Australian National University's Research School of Chemistry. He obtained his Ph.D. from Monash University under Prof. Cameron Jones and has worked on the synthesis and reactivity of low-coordinate, low-oxidation state transition metal complexes. He has held postdoctoral positions at Monash University and the University of Oxford, focusing on porous coordination polymers and nucleophilic aluminium complexes. Currently, he is a DECRA Fellow at ANU, working on the synthesis of highly reactive heterobimetallic complexes for N2 activation. His research interests include the development of novel synthetic methodologies and reactivity studies of transition metal complexes.
