Regular biography
Lu Wang is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University. She serves as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies and Senior Preceptor in Chemistry and Chemical Biology, teaching courses such as Chemistry 10, Physical Sciences 11, and Chemistry 301hf. She also co-directs the Department’s Undergraduate Teaching Program and oversees pedagogical training for preceptors. Dr. Wang joined Harvard in 2013 as a Preceptor and previously held a postdoctoral appointment at MIT. Her research focuses on two-dimensional nanobiosensors, and she has contributed to developing a college chemistry curriculum at Singapore University of Technology and Design. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard in 2011 and her B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University in 2006.
