Regular biography
Sirinya Matchacheep is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University. She serves as the Director of Introductory Undergraduate Laboratories and teaches several courses in general chemistry and organic chemistry at both Harvard College and Harvard Extension/Summer School. Dr. Matchacheep received an A.B. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University, where she worked under Professor Stuart Schreiber. She has been involved in teaching and undergraduate advising at Harvard since her graduate studies. She oversees operations within the chemistry teaching lab space and collaborates with faculty to develop lab curricula. Dr. Matchacheep has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Teaching multiple times by the Harvard Bok Center for Teaching and Learning.
