JoAnne Stubbe is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University. She is a Visiting Scholar and does not accept graduate students. Her research focuses on ribonucleotide reductases (RNRs), which are essential for DNA replication and repair. Stubbe investigates various aspects of RNRs, including radical propagation pathways, protein subunit interactions, regulation, and the biosynthesis and regulation of metallo-cofactors in E. coli, S. cerevisiae, and humans. She also examines the mechanisms behind clinical drugs related to RNRs.
