George Whitesides

George Whitesides is a Research Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Harvard University. His research interests include Analytical Energy Related Inorganic Materials, Origins of Life, and Physical/Chemical Physics. He is affiliated with the Harvard University Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. His profile page indicates he was born in Louisville, KY, and received an A.B. degree from Harvard University in 1960 and a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology in 1964.
