Regular biography
Di Fang is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Duke University, affiliated with the Mathematics department and the Duke Quantum Center. Their research focuses on quantum algorithms, particularly in the areas of unbounded Hamiltonian simulation and open quantum systems. Dr. Fang's work includes the development of quantum Magnus algorithms and the analysis of mixing times in open quantum systems. They are also involved in interdisciplinary projects, such as the Quantum Utility through Advanced Computational Quantum Algorithms (QUACQ) initiative. Dr. Fang's academic journey includes a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
