Adam S. Levine is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Duke University, affiliated with the Department of Mathematics. His research focuses on low-dimensional topology, particularly the study of 3- and 4-dimensional manifolds, with an emphasis on the topology of 4-manifolds and embedded surfaces. His work utilizes tools such as Heegaard Floer homology, derived from symplectic geometry, and explores connections between knot invariants from gauge theory, symplectic geometry, and representation theory.
