Regular biography
Andrea Marie Marritt-Pabalate is the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Trinity College of Arts & Sciences, Duke University, and an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Biology. She joined Duke in 2019 and has served as an Academic Dean, working closely with the Health Professions Advising Office. Prior to Duke, she was an associate professor of biology at Meredith College, where she started a pre-health post-baccalaureate program. Andrea earned her BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology from Georgetown University, with research focused on the nicotinic receptor.
