Alison Hill

Alison Hill is a Senior Lecturer of Biology in the Biology department at Duke University. Her primary focus is instructional, where she teaches courses for both biology majors and non-majors. She develops and innovates the Molecular Biology lab curriculum and integrates formative assessment into lectures. Her non-majors courses emphasize scientific literacy, introducing foundational principles of genetics and molecular biology while exploring societal issues. She expanded her non-majors courses to an international audience by teaching Genetics, Genomics and Society at Duke in Kunshan.
