Graham Farquhar
Regular biography
Graham Farquhar is a Distinguished Professor at The Australian National University's Research School of Biology. His research focuses on the integration of photosynthesis and growth with nitrogen and water use of plants, stomatal physiology, isotopic composition of plants, and global change science. He is a co-leader of Program 4 at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Translational Photosynthesis and has been involved in various grants, including projects related to modelling and measurement of photosynthesis scaling from leaf to crop. His work has contributed significantly to understanding plant responses to environmental changes and has been recognized through numerous awards and fellowships.
