Carol Behm

Carol Behm is a Research Fellow at The Australian National University's Research School of Biology. Her research focuses on molecular genetics and functional genomics of nematodes, with a particular emphasis on the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans. She has secured several grants, including projects related to the development of in vitro assays for anti-nematode drug targets and nematode permeability assays. Her work has contributed to the identification of new drug targets for controlling nematode parasites in both humans and animals. Dr. Behm also supervises undergraduate and Honours research projects and is affiliated with the Behm Group - Nematode molecular biology.
