Joe Altin

Joe Altin is a Research Fellow at The Australian National University's Research School of Biology. His research focuses on tumour immunology and liposome targeting, with an emphasis on developing targeted stealth liposomes as vaccines and cancer immunotherapies. Current projects include improving the tumour-penetrating ability of peptide-targeted liposomes and developing stealth liposomes to target the vasculature of tumours. Altin's work involves the development of patented technologies for the use of stealth liposomes as delivery vehicles for antigens, drugs, and nucleic acids. He is affiliated with the Division of Biomedical Science and Biochemistry and leads the Altin Group, which specializes in tumour immunology and liposome targeting.
