Regular biography
Diane Turnshek is a Special Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University. She holds a Master's degree from the University of Arizona in Astronomy (1981) and a Bachelor's degree from Villanova University in Astronomy (1977). She has been a Special Lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University since 2012. Additionally, she has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at St. Vincent College from 2003 to 2011 and as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Physics and Astronomy from 2001. Her research interests include astronomy and astrophysics, with contributions to the field through publications such as 'An Atlas of Digital Spectra of Cool Stars' and work on gravitational lensing.
