Rachel Rosen

Quantum Field Theory Gravity

About
Regular biography

Rachel Rosen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research focuses on quantum field theory and gravity, particularly the intersection of these fields and theoretical consistency conditions for quantum field theories in flat spacetime and in de Sitter space. She has contributed to the understanding of gravity through the application of effective field theory techniques to various states of matter. Rosen's work includes studies on causality conditions in de Sitter spacetime and gravitational collapse in massive gravity on de Sitter spacetime. She is affiliated with the Mellon College of Science and can be contacted via email at rarosen@cmu.edu or her website at https://www.cmu.edu/physics/people/faculty/rosen.html.
