Shubhayu Chatterjee

Shubhayu Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on quantum many-body physics in strongly correlated electronic systems, quantum simulators, and quantum sensing. Chatterjee holds a PhD in Physics from Harvard University and an Integrated MSc in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. He has received several honors, including the PQI Community Collaboration Award (2023) and the Harvard GSAS Merit Research Fellowship (2016-17). He joined Carnegie Mellon University in 2023 after serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Physics at UC Berkeley from 2018 to 2022.
