Roy Briere

Roy Briere is a Professor of Physics in the Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on nuclear and particle physics, specifically high-energy physics experiments. He is involved in experiments such as BelleII at KEK Lab in Japan and BESIII at the BEPCII collider in Beijing, where he contributes to studies of CP violation and rare B decays. His work includes dE/dx calibration for the Central Drift Chamber and software development for particle identification. He has also served on the Publications committee as an editor. His research interests include flavor physics, particularly the study of quark decays and weak interactions.
