Yisong Alex Guo

Yisong Alex Guo is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on bioinorganic, bio- and bio-inspired catalysis, biophysical spectroscopy, and the study of metalloproteins. Utilizing advanced spectroscopic methods such as Mössbauer, EPR, and NRVS, along with DFT calculations, his work explores the electronic and geometric properties of iron centers in enzymes involved in critical biological processes.
