NHS Scientist Training Programme

About
Regular biography

The NHS Scientist Training Programme at The University of Manchester, within the Department of Biology, is a three-year, fully funded postgraduate programme in healthcare science. This highly competitive part-time MSc is accredited by the National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) and delivered in collaboration with the Manchester Academy of Healthcare Science Education (MAHSE). The programme combines academic learning at The University of Manchester with clinical training in NHS Trusts, leading to qualification as a clinical scientist in either a laboratory setting or a patient-facing role, such as genomic counselling, and registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
