Gordon Rule

Gordon S. Rule is a Professor and Department Head in the Department of Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on protein structure, molecular recognition, NMR spectroscopy, and x-ray diffraction. His work explores inter-molecular interactions in biological systems, including enzyme-substrate interactions, protein-DNA interactions, and the development of inhibitors for thymidylate kinases. He collaborates with researchers at the University of Pittsburgh on various projects. His laboratory also develops automated methods for NMR data analysis.
