Stuart Bruce Dalziel

Professor Stuart Bruce Dalziel is a Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on Environmental and Industrial Fluid Dynamics, encompassing topics such as internal gravity waves, granular flows, and stratified turbulence. He has led the GK Batchelor Laboratory for over 25 years, contributing to the development of leading research facilities and diagnostics. His work integrates theoretical, numerical, and experimental approaches, and he is interested in PhD students with backgrounds in mathematics, engineering, or physics.
