Regular biography
Dr Anthony Charles Lewis Ashton is a faculty member in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge. He is affiliated with the Applied and Computational Analysis group and works on topics such as novel approaches to elliptic boundary value problems, Lie groups in PDE, and mathematical physics. He lectures on courses including Distribution Theory & Applications and Part II Integrable Systems. His research includes publications on elliptic PDEs and the Fokas method for linear elliptic equations. He has held various fellowships and academic positions at Cambridge colleges.
