Regular biography
Dr Sergio Bacallado is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Statistical Laboratory. His research interests include Bayesian methods and Bayesian nonparametrics, analysis of Markov models, and applications to biology and biophysics. Dr Bacallado's work spans various areas, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and computational biology. His publications address topics such as microbial protease allergens, carbohydrate-active enzyme function, and molecular machine learning. He is based at the University of Cambridge, where he contributes to both research and academic activities within the Faculty of Mathematics.
