Frank Stajano

Professor Frank Stajano is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge. His research interests include security, privacy, and usability. He is also the Head of the GCHQ-endorsed Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research. Stajano holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and a Laurea in electronic engineering from La Sapienza University of Rome. He is a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. His work focuses on making digital society safe, secure, and fair for non-geeks, with a particular emphasis on IoT security. He has authored a book on security for ubiquitous computing and has contributed to numerous scientific articles in the field. Stajano has also founded and hosted several cyber security competitions. He is the CEO and co-founder of Cambridge Cyber, a security consultancy. He teaches a variety of courses at Cambridge and makes his lectures freely available on his YouTube channel.
