Sohmyung Ha

Sohmyung Ha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at New York University. His research focuses on biomedical circuits, neural interface, wireless power, and data telemetry. Ha's Integrated BioElectronics Laboratory at NYU Abu Dhabi explores the engineering and applications of silicon integrated technology interfacing with biology, including implantable biomedical devices and wearable sensors. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering from KAIST and later earned his MS and PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of California San Diego. Ha previously worked as an analog and mixed-signal circuit designer at Samsung Electronics and returned to academia as a Fulbright Scholar.
