Hamed Rahmani

Hamed Rahmani is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New York University (NYU). He is affiliated with the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and the NYU WIRELESS Center for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications (CATT). His research focuses on integrated circuits and systems for intelligent sensing and communication, with applications in biomedical and IoT domains. Rahmani's work includes RF/mm-Wave and THz circuits, low-power integrated sensors, and wireless power transfer. He is also affiliated with the RAISE Lab, which explores advanced integrated systems and electronics. Rahmani holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UCLA, an M.Sc. from Rice University, and a B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology. Prior to joining NYU, he worked as a research scientist at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center and as a senior RFIC design engineer at Qualcomm Inc. He is also an affiliate member of IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society technical committees.
