Yuzhang Lin

Dr. Yuzhang Lin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Lin holds a Ph.D. from Northeastern University and B.Eng. and M.S. degrees from Tsinghua University. His research focuses on smart grid, renewable energy, and demand electrification, with an emphasis on modeling, situational awareness, cyber-physical resilience, and AI applications. He has collaborated with utilities on smart grid technologies and AI applications in energy systems. His work has been supported by NSF, DOE, ONR, NYSERDA, and MassCEC. Dr. Lin is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems and serves on several IEEE PES task forces. He has received awards including the NSF CAREER Award and the Graduate Student Outstanding Research Award from Northeastern University.
