Kaan Ozbay

Kaan Ozbay is a Professor at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Department of Civil, Urban, and Environmental Engineering. He serves as the Director of C2SMART and holds the title of Global Network Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi and Global Network Professor of Engineering and Computer Science at NYU Shanghai. His research interests include traffic incident management, feedback-based traffic control, and transportation economics. Ozbay has been a faculty member at Rutgers University since 1996 and joined NYU in 2013. He is also affiliated with the Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP) at NYU.
