Andrew Bates is a Professor at New York University's Tandon School of Engineering, affiliated with the Department of Civil, Urban, and Environmental Engineering. With 25 years of experience in Construction Management, Engineering, and Organizational Management, he holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. His research interests include Risk Analysis and Management, Owner's Representation, Project Success, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). He teaches courses on Construction Management, Construction Modeling Techniques, and Project Controls using BIM. His work has been published in journals and conference proceedings, focusing on topics such as Integrated Project Delivery and sustainable design in engineering education.
