Lawrence Chiarelli is a Professor in the Department of Civil, Urban and Environmental Engineering at New York University. He serves as Director of Construction Management Programs and Director of the IDC Innovation Hub. Professor Chiarelli is an Industry Professor and a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He is also a licensed Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering from The Cooper Union. His professional experience includes roles as a structural engineer, construction project manager, and contract manager for an international construction management firm. Additionally, he has worked as a Special Counsel in the Construction Group at Duane Morris LLP.
