H. Bradley Shaffer

H. Bradley Shaffer is a Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research focuses on conservation biology, ecology, and evolutionary biology, with a particular emphasis on amphibians and reptiles. His work includes conservation genomics, phylogenetic analysis, and ecological studies of endangered species such as the California tiger salamander. He is the Principal Investigator and Director of the California Conservation Genomics Project (CCGP), which analyzes 250 species of plants and animals to aid in biodiversity conservation. Additionally, he serves as Director of the La Kretz Center for California Conservation Science and the UCLA Stunt Ranch Reserve.
