Elsa Ordway

Elsa Ordway is a Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on ecosystem ecology, with an emphasis on field measurements, remote sensing, and modeling. She examines forest ecosystem dynamics, including interactions between climate change, land use change, and ecological responses. Ordway also explores social-ecological systems and their interactions with forest communities. She is Co-Director of the Congo Basin Institute and the Center for Tropical Research.
