Regular biography
Leila Pinto Campillo is an Associate Professor (Education) at the UCL School of Management, Department of Business. Her professional career developed in the Financial/Banking Industry at various Financial Institutions in Spain, the United States, Panama, Guatemala, Colombia, and Ecuador. For over fourteen years, she led Private Banking teams and managed wealth management portfolios for top international banks such as Deutsche Bank, Banco Sabadell, Lloyds TSB Bank, and Grupo IF (US Group Bank), where she was the Head of the International Area. She currently owns a financial advisory boutique firm advising high net worth families in Latin America. Leila began teaching Corporate Finance and Advanced Financial Management at IE Business School in 2010 and holds a Degree in Business Administration, an MBA, and a Masters in International Relations. She is currently working on her PhD in Higher Education and Research at Lancaster University.
