Regular biography
Andrea Calef is an Associate Professor in Finance at the UCL School of Management, where he also serves as Programme Director for the MSc Finance with Data Science. He joined the School of Management in August 2024 as an Associate Professor (Education) in Finance, following five years at the UEA School of Economics as an Assistant Professor. Calef holds a PhD from Queen Mary University of London and an MSc from Bocconi University. His research interests include Banking, International Finance, FinTech, ESG, and Impact Investing, with a focus on policymaking.
