Mario Vanhoucke is a Lecturer at the UCL School of Management, University College London. His research focuses on project scheduling, risk analysis, and project control. He is passionate about improving project performance and resource efficiency through Operations Research. Vanhoucke combines academic research with practical applications, often collaborating with PMI. He is also a full professor at Ghent University and Vlerick Business School in Belgium. His work includes developing project management software tools and contributing to various academic publications. He has received research awards, including the 'Outstanding Research' award from IPMA in 2020.
