Yuri Resende Fonseca

Yuri Resende Fonseca is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Operations and Technology Group at the UCL School of Management. His research focuses on online optimization, statistical learning, and decision-making in digital platforms and marketplaces, with work published in leading journals and presented at top conferences, including Operations Research, NeurIPS, COLT, and ACM EC. He earned his PhD in Decision, Risk & Operations at Columbia University under the mentorship of Omar Besbes, Ilan Lobel, and Fanyin Zheng. He subsequently held a postdoctoral position at Stanford University, collaborating with Daniela Saban and Vahideh Manshadi of Yale University.
