Regular biography
Neil Sutherland is an Associate Professor in the Business Department at University College London. He serves as Programme Director for the BSc International Management and is dedicated to supporting Teaching Assistants through pedagogic development and career enhancement. His work focuses on fostering participative and democratic group practices within educational settings. Sutherland joined UCL in 2022 and has led initiatives such as the UCL PGTA Management Network, contributing to improved satisfaction rates and AF/FHEA recognitions. He also maintains an academic support YouTube channel, 'Neil’s Common Room,' and has authored a book on organisational ethnography. His research and teaching emphasize collaborative work, community building, and innovative educational practices.
