Regular biography
Dr Terry Harris is a Lecturer in Mathematics at The University of Queensland, School of Mathematics and Physics. His research interests include geometric and nonlinear analysis, with a focus on harmonic analysis, geometric measure theory, and their connections. Dr Harris obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of New South Wales in 2015 and completed his PhD at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2020. Prior to joining The University of Queensland in 2026, he held postdoctoral positions at Cornell University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His work includes publications in journals such as the Indiana University Mathematics Journal, Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, and Analysis and PDE.
