Regular biography
Othman Cole is an Associate Professor at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Cambridge Judge Business School's Department of Business and Social Sciences. His research interests include behavioural finance, capital structure decisions, risk governance, and the comparative advantages of oil and gas companies. He is also interested in the link between carbon emissions and economic growth, as well as the impact of hosting international sporting events on construction and tourism sectors in the BRICs. Cole is a member of the Finance subject group at Cambridge Judge Business School and has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He has also presented at international conferences and has experience in investment banking and consulting.
