Regular biography
Monique Boddington is an Associate Professor at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Cambridge Judge Business School's Department of Business Studies. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, particularly early-stage venture formation, startup strategy development, experimentation, pivoting, gender dynamics, and entrepreneurial impact. She employs sociological approaches to enhance understanding of entrepreneurial activity and has led initiatives such as the EVER project on early-stage venture strategy. Boddington also contributes to entrepreneurship education, including a collaboration on Arab youth career self-efficacy and EU-funded projects on measuring the impact of entrepreneurship education. She is the Director of the MSt in Entrepreneurship programme and teaches modules such as Experimentation and Pivoting and Entrepreneurial Impact. Her work has been published in journals like Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and Gender, Work and Organization.
