Radha Kessar

Radha Kessar is the Fielden Chair in Pure Mathematics at the University of Manchester, Department of Mathematics. She holds a Chair position and is recognized for her research in mathematics, particularly in areas such as finite groups and algebra. Kessar received her first degree from Panjab University in 1991 and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 1995. She has held various academic positions, including faculty roles at The Ohio State University, the University of Aberdeen, and City, University of London. Since April 2024, she has been associated with the University of Manchester as the Fielden Chair in Pure Mathematics.
