Richard Hewitt

Richard Hewitt is a Professor of Applied Mathematics at The University of Manchester, Department of Mathematics. His research interests include geophysical fluid dynamics, fluid mechanics, and stability theory, with a focus on rotating flows, stratified flows, and high-speed flow phenomena. He is also involved in corrosion modelling via reaction/diffusion models. Hewitt's work combines asymptotic, numerical, and experimental techniques to study continuum mechanics behaviour.
