Raphael Assier

Raphael Assier is a Professor of Applied Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at The University of Manchester. His research interests include canonical scattering problems, the mathematical theory of diffraction, and complex analysis, particularly functions of several complex variables and their applications to waves theory. He is also interested in scattering of elastic waves and the mathematical and physical understanding of combustion instabilities.
