Wuliang Yin is Professor of Electromagnetic Sensing and Instrumentation at The University of Manchester, Department of Electrical Engineering. His research focuses on measurement systems and instrumentation design, electromagnetic induction, Eddy currents, Tomographic imaging, Magnetics, Non-destructive testing, and Robotic Inspection. He has authored over 400 refereed journal and conference papers and holds more than 40 patents. He leads several EPSRC and EU-funded projects and supervises multiple PhD students. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals 3, 7, and 9.
